Financial Advice for the Fashionista in You Week of 9/5-9/11

Good morning everyone!

     Here is this week's financial advice. Now let me remind all my readers that this advice is not something that I personally thought of. Most of my advice comes from books and magazine articles I have read and thought were quite a good idea to pass along to you all here. Today's advice comes from the finance book, "Shoo, Jimmy Choo!: The Modern Girl's Guide to Spending Less and Saving More." I will be posting what I find interesting in this book on here to help all my struggling fashionistas and myself as well. So hope this advice helps you all, as it will be helping me and some of my friends.

Tip#2: Find out your financial now.
In order to find out your financial now, you will need to take a financial snapshot.
Obtaining a financial snapshot requires two simple steps:
   - Gathering your financial statements and organize them.
   - Find out your FICO score.

Step One: Gather and Organize Your Financial Statements

This step is one of importance. If possible, gather all of your financial statements and create folders for each category listed below:
   -Automobiles
       * Auto Loans
       * Purchase agreements, titles, warranties, maintenance, and repair receipts
       * Insurance

- Bank statements (checking and savings)

- Investment accounts (excluding retirment)
      * Statements from mutual funds, stocks, bonds, CDs, money market accounts, etc.

- Credit card statements

- Mortage
      * Closing statement and other purchase documents
      * Mortage statements
      * Insurance (private mortage insurance, homeowners insurance, etc.0

- Insurance
     * Rental, life, health, disability, etc.

- Retirement
    * All retirement account statments

- Salary/Income
   * Pay stubs, checks, and other payroll items
   * Other sources of income

- Student Loans
* Original loan agreement
* Monthly statements

- Tax Returns
* W-2s, 1099s, tax-related forms, etc.
* If you plan to itemize deductions, put relevant statements and receipts in your file

- Other loans/debts
* Include other kinds of loans, statements of money owed, etc.

Once you have gathered all your statements, write each category and the amount you owe on a piece of paper or on a chart, i.e.:

   What is a FICO score and why you should care?
   Your FICO score (FICO= Fair Isaac Corporation) is your financial story-whether you paid bills on time, how much debt you have, and more- all in a 3-digit number.
If you have a high FICO score, you'll get a better interest rate on your credit cards and loans, saving you thousands of dollars in interest.
You can obtain your FICO score at myFICO.com. This can cost up to $50 or more.

I know I have been M.I.A. for a bit, writing and reading wise. I am somewhat out of a computer and I do not have reliable internet so, that kind of puts everything at odds right now. Anywho, I have decided that along with you giving everyone some financial advice that I am going to also give you all some closet revamping advice or suggestions as well. Fall is rapidly approaching, like in a couple of weeks and what better way to enter Fall by having a revamped or new additions to the closet. Each week or day, depending on what happens that day or week, I will be updating and suggesting different things that should be added to the closet or to one's wardrobe. Mind you these suggestions do not have to be followed but they do come in handy and I will be taking heed to some of the things I suggest. These are not merely from my head but the brain of the gorgeous and fabulous Nina Garcia. 1. A-Line Dress:

How to tell if it is an A-Line: Narrower on the top and flares out gently toward the bottom, resembling the letter A.

Reasons To Own:

It will work for you on your best day.

It will work for you on your worst day.

It will work when you don't know what to wear, for all occasions, and in all kinds of weather.

Last but not least, no matter what it will flatter your figure.

How To Style It: Bold accessories, a great pair of shoes, and possibly a pair of tights depending on the season.

Suggestions:

Have an A-Line dress in Black as a "just in case" dress. I.E.: Dinner parties or an impromptu date that allows you little time to get ready.

Perfect for summer with sandals or winter with knee high boots.

Want to be daring? Wear a bright-colored A-line with a bright colored tight, like a true 60s mod girls.

Financial Advice for the Fashionista in You

Lately I have been on a financial book reading kick. I have read at least two to three books within the last couple of months that offered advice for the fashionista on a budget or attempting to budget. As I was reading these books, I decided to do a daily or weekly feature where I mention the advice that these books offer to my readers and followers. Let me know what you all think about the advice and whether it should be something I do on a daily or weekly basis. I love hearing feedback...thanks =] Now time for the main event:

Tip #1: If you are a fashionista who has limited funds, first thing first, MAKE A BUDGET! Not just any budget, make a monthly one and a weekly one and if possible a daily one. If you are not sure on how to start this budget, what you should do is purchase a notebook or if you have a smart phone, there should be an area for you to put notes or something of that sort. Once you have done that, write down everything you purchase and how much you spend on these items. Then factor it into your weekly budget and after that, tally up how many of these items are repeats, and factor those into your monthly budget.

For example:
Daily Budget: Monday 08/27
Starbucks: $5
Auntie Anne's Pretzel: $3
MARTA: $15
Mall Soda Machines: $4*bought a soda twice*
Burger King-Dinner: $8
Total: $35

Weekly 08/26-09/04
Sunday 08/26: $0

This is an example of how you can form your budget, if this method does not work for you, you can always form your own.

Tip#2: Remember the smartest female understands why she shops, knows what she needs, and gets what she wants. With that said, shop around and don't be a brand monogomist unless that brand is something that works for you. Express and long live your individuality.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I have not updated in quite awhile but things have been hectic on my side of the world. Okay, let's start with the good news before I go in on this post...

GOOD NEWS: Guess who has a job????

ME!

Yeah, that's right after a long month and a half of looking for a job, I was finally able to land one. I have to be honest, I give thanks to God for this one and the other piece of good news I have. I am quite spiritual and mainly people in my close circle only knows this. Well anywho, besides landing a good paying and fun job, I am also a campus rep for an online testing company. So yes, this year I will be getting paid like no other and I have to give all the thanks for my blessings to the Lord. Now that I got that out of my system and let my readers in on a little secret about me, let's get down to the nitty gritty of this post.

As some of my readers may know and as some may not know this, I am officially a senior in college and I am happy about finally reaching this high point in my life. Although my life has been on the up and coming but my love life, not so much. My love life has been on a hiatus due to a personal decision. However with that decision, the butterflies that I get when I am near someone I am or used to be attracted to tend to reappear as they did today. Today while leaving the bookstore and purchasing most of my class books I needed, I ran into an old crush/flame of mine. Him and I had been talking since freshman year up until the beginning of last year when I decided to leave him alone after I realized that he was not willing to make a commitment to me and I was not feeling the same about him anymore. He looked cute today and we talked with a hint of flirting in it. I am not too sure what to think of this due to the fact that I think he still has a girlfriend. Yeah, you read correctly, he decided to break his commitment phobia last year and got a girlfriend a little after him and I had stopped communicating with each other. So that definitely fused me to stop speaking to him even more. Now it's senior year and to be honest, I am not sure what to think or feel anymore. Maybe it's the rest of the old feelings coming back or it might be the new ones...but whatever it is, I am going to need for it to either manifest into something positive or just go away...I am not in the mood to deal with him, males or any of their BS>>sorry went on my all female college rant...Not angry just confused and in need of some guidance.

Sorry for not updating as much. I am going to be updating a little bit more, now that school is starting and I am able to have unlimited access to internet. Also I will be getting internet at the apartment soon and I will not have to go to the business lab/cybercafe at my apartment and use their computer. Bedroom Decorations Options Part I

As some of you may know and to those who don't, I recently moved. Since I have moved, I decided I wanted to decorate my bedroom a bit especially since this is my last year of college and also my apartment is too pretty for me to not decorate it. One of my friends who recently visited the new place brought it to my attention that my apartment along with the rest of the complex reminds him of a hotel in Miami or some resort. Besides having an obsession with jackets and skirts, I also I have an obsession with denim. This weekend was a slow one due to all of the packing and lack of moving I have been doing. Ugh! I hate moving and I hate packing because then I realize how much stuff I have especially clothes...Never did I know I owned that many clothes. Anywhoo....I decided to do some internet window shopping and came across this sweatshirt on my favorite website, Shopbop. On their website, they are currently feautring a lookbook for Summer weekends in the City. As I flipped through the look book, I came across this:

Some people may know who that is on the sweatshirt but some may not. If you do not know who that is, it is Anna Wintour from Vogue. She is currently the editor-in-chief of American Vogue. She has held the position since 1988. But of course, Ms. Wintour is gorgeous in her own right and well known for her pageboy haircut and big sunglasses. I have to give it Sauce, they did a good job on the drawing of Anna Wintour with vampire fangs...hehe... and has made me desire this sweatshirt to wear while on campus, shopping at the mall, or even out to dinner with friends. Good Afternoon!!!!

I gotta say I am in a chiper mood today due to it being a great day, although it was sweltering and some news with my apartment and moving out is not going my way right now. That's another post. Anywhoo.....I was on one of my favorite stores' website...Madewell. I absolutely adore Madewell and the clothing they have. Ask anyone at the local mall, where I previously worked, who works in Madewell if they know me, they probably do. I am the girl who stalks the store but hasn't bought any of the recent items due to being jobless and lack of funds. Have you ever met one of those kids who used to complain all during summer about how badly they wished school would start so they could have something productive to do? But....when school officially begin they start to complain about the work load and wish it was summer vacation again? Well if you have, then you have met someone who is a bit similar to me...LoL! Good morning everyone!

I am starting earlier than usual but I am up because I do have to go to my job today..eh?!? Not too sure how to feel about that right now. Anywho, I checked my email and started looking for a job when I came across a couple of emails in my inbox.

Her name is Miroslava Duma. She is a well known editor from Russia-Moscow to be exact. Her career started at Harper's Bazaar Russia and has led her to being a contributor to L'Officiel Russia, Glamour Russia, the style section of OK Magazine-Russia, and Tatler Magazine Russia.

I decided that the blog needed a change. As I was preparing myself for this change and looking for all types of layouts for the blog, I found a few I liked but had a problem changing some things. This all caused me to get frustrated and with that said, I decided to go for a minimal look. Let me know what you think. I am probably going to change it in a month or so....who knows. Sex and the City 2: Fashion You Can Own

Have you seen SEX AND THE CITY 2? I know I am extremely late with this post.....I ask this because did you see the fashion in the film? BANANAS!!!!! But I bet you might not have known this...did you know that you could purchase some of the pieces Carrie wore in the film and own a bit of the movie and fashion for yourself?

I was doing my usual daily browse on singer22 when something caught my eye...guess what it was?

The infamous white dress she wears in the beginning of the film. You can own this dress on singer22 for just $325.00. It also came in a pretty green color as well, if white is just not your thing. But that was not the only thing I saw on singer22 that had Sex and the City 2 screaming at me.

This electric blue dress, known as the Stripe Lurex Pleated Cocktail Dress In Electric Blue caught my eye as well and made me drool. I am a sucker for a great dress that can be worn in the day and the night especially being in this humid state known as Georgia. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the dress and couldn't contain my excitement when I saw that I could actually purchase it without feeling too guilty. This dress is going for $435.00 on singer 22 as well.

From the looks of it singer 22 seems to be the official website for items from Sex and the City 2. Singer 22 also had these items from the movie as well:

Stretch Jersey One Shoulder Mini Caftan in Peach or White- This dress is going for $325.00 and available for pre-ordering. Absolutely in love with this dress as well. Perfect for the summer nights on the town whether going to dinner and a movie or night out with the girls. This dress seems light and comfortable and able to pull off in the Fall season as well with the right shoes and accessories.

The next item that is also available from the film is the orange dress that Carrie wears while walking the beach while doing some deep thinking about her life and what would be future actions. This lovely orange dress known as the Iconic Pleated Long Dress is going for.....hold your breath....$895.00. Yes ladies and gents, this dress is almost $900.00

I am not too sure how I feel about that because I rather buy shoes that cost that much or a new purse but if it you love it, then hey, why not?

On top of that you can also own the white denim leggings from the 80s reenactment scene. They are actually pretty cute and I would probably rock these with a cute colorful top. These denim leggings are going for $165.00.

However not only did they have the clothing from the movie, they also had a few pieces of accessories [that were inspired by the film, but not an exact replica] as well. The accessories that they had I will hope to make a future purchase **crosses fingers**

At Singer22 they have a necklace that was inspired by the film. It is the clover necklace that Carrie wears in different scenes in the film. This necklace is available in silver and gold vermeil. It's completely gorgeous. The silver is going for $264.00 and the gold vermeil is going for $268.00.

But if you want one that is a bit closer to the one that Carrie had more of a replica than an inspriration, then there is one on Patricia Field's website. Patricia Field is known as the head of the costume department and lead stylist for the Sex and the City franchise and honestly they couldn't have picked a better person. Her replicas of the necklaces are going for $56.00-$72.00. Patricia Field's necklaces are bit more blingier and pocket friendly than Singer 22 but whatever catches your attention. Personally I like them both but lean more towards the Singer 22 version due to me being a minimialist. I would probably wear the Patrica Field's one when I go out with the girls to the clubs or a party. Who knows...I might wear during the day on campus, so I can get some attention =D LoL! I kid, I kid.

Also on Patricia Field's website, they have the sunglasses that Carrie wore in the film as well. The sunglasses are going for $525.00 and come in blue and red as well as the gold/yellow color that Carrie is seen wearing.

Hey All!

I am writing this post while I do my morning devotion. I know some people are wondering what in the world I am talking about. Well let me explain. Some of my readers may know and some may not, but I am a Christian. I was brought up in the church- a non-denominational and Catholic. I have been attending church since I was a child, although in college I have slacked off a bit but I can tell you this whenever I am in California, I am there almost every Sunday. I accepted the Lord aka JC when I was a young child....I think when I was 5 or 6 maybe even younger than that. I have been baptized as a Catholic and a Christian and haven't looked back since. I normally do not bring God onto my blog due to the fact that I don't want to offend anyone for I know religion is a touchy subject for some people. But this one time, well second time I am bringing him to my discussion on here. As I have mentioned this year and part of last year has been a difficult one for me but I know I am surviving it and moving ahead due to God. My faith has grown stronger and continuously grows due to the time I spend with God and all that he has been doing in my life. With God in my life and by my side spiritually I believe that nothing is impossible. He has made some moves in my life and I don't ever regret nor doubt him like I used to.

I know some of you are wondering by what I mean in doubting him. There were times that I doubted that the Lord even cared and that he was punishing me for not making him a priority in my life. True, I used to not be as focused on the Lord as I was on myself but after talking and doing some much needed praying and reading of the Bible and my daily devotion book, I noticed that He was directly where I needed to focus and to not allow my faith to waiver for He would never give you more than you can handle. I had to apply that to me and realized that God can give as much as He can take and that He has us go through trials and tribulations to make us stronger and test out our faith. As the middle of summer approaches, I have realized that God has been with me along every step of my life and would never give me more than I can handle. So with that said, I take each day with my head up and focused on whatever the task and goal is for that day, week, or month. Some days I do get tired and wreary, so I take a break but I never forget that without Him a lot would be IMPOSSIBLE. He has done so much in my life that has brought me far and made me happy. I am glad to say I am a Christian and a believer in GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. I give all the praise and worship with all of my heart.

Once again I took a much needed hiatus from my blog....again I do apologize. Things have not been easy since the summer has started. I have not felt motivated to update anything and I am trying to get my life back on track. As my senior is starting to approach I have decided to take a new look and step in life. Let me update a bit....

I have found a new place and roommate. My roommate actually happens to be one of my best friends. Hopefully her and I don't have a falling out like my previous roommate and I did.

I quit my job! Yes I have finally quit and I am looking for a new one. My old job stopped giving me hours and some other stuff that I will talk about on a later date this week.

I finally have an internet source at my current apartment that allows me to access this page and update. My previous internet carrier would not allow it and so I was not able to add as much.

Oh, here's the big one....I think I found someone who makes me happy and I enjoy any time I speak or see him. He will be a discussion for later times.... =]

I do plan on updating and posting a lot more since now I have been motivated and I do miss my blog. I have been doing this for almost three years and to be honest, I do enjoy it and sharing my life with others. So I will be back for more and I hope you will do the same.

Don't Take It Personal[Just One of Dem Days]- Monica

I know I have been gone for a hot minute...Let's be honest, I have been gone for at least two months, which in blogger time that is quite awhile. The reason for this is due to me personally dealing with a lot. I have had to deal with roommates, family, and school problems. I am scared to look at my own report card due to what I had to deal with this year- yes I am including both Fall and Spring semester in this. Now as the summer time approaches us, I am concerned for my job due to me running late, I might be having to sweat in the summer heat to look for a new one. It's not my fault that to be real I am not excited about my job anymore and what not. I mean I love what I do but I don't enjoy it like I used to. But then again who would enjoy selling clothes and know that part of the reason one might be broke is because of bills and clothes. Yes I am somewhat a modern day Carrie except I am still a student, I work part-time and can't afford the Louboutins and Blahniks like she can on a writer's salary. Also on that note, I had to deal with the death of one of my favorite aunts on my dad side. Things just have not been the same and I kinda wished they hadn't changed....

While reading this month's issue of Lucky magazine, I came across the excerpt talking about a denim store in Nashville, TN called Imogene+Willie. Although I live in Atlanta, I knew I couldn't personally go to the store, so I decided to visit their website and blog. As I was scanning through their website, I was able to discover a little more about the store and their brand.

imogene+willie is described as an unseen concept for they mix product of design, execution and distribution all in, get this, a retro-fitted gas station[ how awesome is that? quite awesome]. It has been described as an artisan bakery for premium apparel. imogene+willie was created by a lovely couple, Matt and Carrie, who happened to have worked together in designing, developing and producing premium denim apparel for brands such as- Levi's, Lee, Ralph Lauren, Diesel, J Brand and many others. They are known to have created and developed new processes and inventions that have led to the athestics of current day denim that drives modern day apparel. Inside the shop of imogene+willie, jeans, dresses, and t-shirts are the core. Inside of this particular shop, the core- denim, dresses, and t-shirts- are all conceived, designed, produced and sold. imogene+willie do only sell denim, t-shirts, and dresses, but also vintage cowboy boots, harman towels from Turkey and hand dyed scarves from India. It is stated that the team-wife and husband, Carrie and Matt, are basically display the ultimate version of customer service due to the fact that imogene+willie is their baby[ hey, who else lives in the attic of their shop? I don't know anyone who does, but these two do!].

Well I hope to one day travel to Nashville and visit this lovely shop where one can find clothing that were not made just for the hell of it but also with love and care. I wish Carrie and Matt, along with their brand and store, imogene+willie the best and hope to experience their store personally. Recently while browsing one of my favorite blogs - Karla's Closet and Cupcakes and Cashmere- I viewed that they had been picked by Coach to design a handbag along with two other bloggers. I can say that I absolutely love their designs and hope to purchase them quite soon like in a few weeks or months. Karla's design is quite city chic for a girl's night out and can easily play into the day time when you have to do that walk across campus or to your apartment after a long night of partying and going to a late night spot to eat aka IHOP, Denny's or Waffle House[depending on where you are from and live]. While Emily's from Cupcakes and Cashmere design is quite delightful for that girl who likes to show that not only is she cute but also flirty. Lately I have not been able to update due to school, work and sleep becoming a big priority in my life. A couple days of ago I had to have an epiphany hit me through a mental breakdown on the phone with mama dukes. I had to make her realize that I can't be perfect all the time. I mean, realistically speaking, I work at least 15-30 hours a week and I go to school full time along with trying to get myself involved in other things besides academia. Yet my family expected me to maintain a 3.5 GPA and still function as if nothing is wrong...UMMM>>>> HELL NO! I can't do such a thing without my body getting exhausted and wanting to shut down since it is not use to such a schedule. My mom finally understood and respected what I had to say. She offered me the chance to take a break from school and come home. However I couldn't do that due to me being a second semester junior and I can smell the glory of graduation day for next year already. I had to make the decision of dropping from 18 credits to 12 credits, still full time, but lesser hours and days. But hey it sometimes go that way =/

Good evening all!

So I know it has been awhile since I have updated and I thought I would have time to do more this week but it is not looking that way due to job finally giving me the hours I wanted and have requested for the past couple of months. Anywhoo today was a good day for it was a productive one. Got up this morning went to work, was late due to the bus driver operating on a whole other schedule and driving slow as Miss Daisy. And don't get me started on trying to get breakfast at Panera Bread...disaster=\ Fast forward to lunch aka my run to Staples to fax my summer internship application to the Supreme Court aka not fun and another disaster...Ugh! But at least I was able to make up the time I was late from this morning and afternoon. But after work it was all good for I did my version of window shopping aka pre-paycheck shopping and was able to find a cute dress for the summer and to wear to my internship. Now I am just hoping to hear back about those two applications and other programs I applied to. Oh yeah found the new apartment earlier this week...Completely GORGEOUS!

Good afternoon everyone!

Today has not been the greatest. So today, I woke up originally on time and then decided to sleep in a little more, which caused me to over sleep...UH-OH! With that said by the time I was dressed and leaving the apartment, it was snowing. NOT GOOD AT ALL! With all the snow and rain, or sleet, whatever people want to call it. The weather has been acting weird which causes the public transportation to run slow in the A. I ended up missing my first class and then was a little late to my 1pm class. As I sit in my wonderful Criminology course, I decided to handle some business with my Constitutional Law class and some magazine subscription issues. While handling my magazine issues, I had to travel to elle.com and saw some photos that were posted. They are currently monitoring Milan's Fashion Week and one of the attendees of Milan's Fashion Week was my favorite stylist, RACHEL ZOE!!!

I absolutely adore Rachel Zoe ♥ Her style is completely amazing. The outfit that was highlighted today was laid back but fashion week worthy. In my opinion her outfit highlights her Los Angeles/New York attitude with a mixture of haute couture aura. Gotta love her and her hustle=D

Hey everyone!

I am officially back with a vengeance and have so much to say=D SOOOOO.....I have decided to take control of my life and am excited about it. As many of you may or may have not known, I was going through a little situation with the roommate that was not looking to good. Well let m e update you all on what's going and what has changed. Well the roommate and I have finally talked and it also involved....drumroll....our parents! TAH DAH!

Recap:

My roommate stop speaking to me around the Fall, like in October, and I somewhat knew why and personally did not care. So I kept living life, paying rent, going to school and bills. She started acting rude and I kept killing her with kindness, but finally say EFF IT, and reciprocated the treatment that she was dispersing to a certain extent. Finally I guess my roommate got fed up and called my mother..smh =/ My mother calls me and summarizes the conversation she had with my roommate. She convinced me that I should talk to my roommate and I said I would. Before I could clear my schedule and get the time to tell my roommate that we needed to talk, she writes me a letter claiming how she wanted out of her part of the lease because she did not appreciate what was going on between us. I personally was like okay, if that's how you feel but I be damned if you think you are going to get out of these lease or get out of this lease with not one consequence. Sorry, I am not the chick to let such things happen. In other terms, I ain't no punk, LMAO=D Before I could finally decide on the appropriate response to tell my roommate that it wasn't going to happen, I received a phone call & voicemail from her mother asking me what was going on. First of all I was a little disturb by this then I called my mother for I felt that to prevent any tensions and problems, it would be best for her to speak to my mother. They spoke and believed it would be best that me and my roommate spoke to each other that night. The meeting occurred and things were said, some filled with BS, but at least I can say I was in the right and that this situation has now been handled. My roommate is still staying in the apartment and as of next year, I will be either living with a new roommate or by myself. Either way, me, her, and her boyfriend will not be living in the same apartment next year. For those who did not know, yes, my roommate's boyfriend does live with us and he does pay rent and bills or she pays his portion....IDK, and personally don't care as long as things are paid.

Current:

I am right now getting my life on track because at one point my living situation and some other problems were having an effect on me and causing me to slack on my studies. Well now that everything is getting back to how it used to be, I am trying to get my studies back on track and focus on my plans for summer vacation. I hopefully am doing something fun and productive besides working at the mall. As much as I love retail, I would love to do something that has to do with my major in college and future plans, which include law school and becoming a lawyer. So with that said, I have been applying to internships and summer programs that have to do with law, along with summer camps. Yes I said summer camps. I want to be a counselor for I am going into family law. I am learning to take my focus off of negatives and focus on something productive and positive. I am also applying to scholarships and looking for a new job. Yes, I am on the job hunt again=/ Has not been going to well, but hey it's worth a try. So everyone keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best, for I am ready for something new =] Now it's midterms and I am ready for Spring Break to get here...Countdown....3 DAYS!!!!

Good Afternoon everyone!

So today has been a decent day. I have not been as focused on school as much as I should but hey can you blame me with all the drama I have been dealing with within the last few months. School has gone by in such a blur and I can't believe the semester is almost over and I am still purchasing books for two classes due to someone * cough cough* wanting to share books and then at the last minute bailing out on me. So not cool but hey everyone has their moments when they decide to change their minds and I can't even hate on it. I just sucked it up and made the decision to just rent my books and call it a semester since midterms are almost here....AHHHHH =/ So not looking forward to that! I am more looking forward to my Spring Break where I will not have to worry about school but knowing my luck I will be probably cranking out a term paper and working. I think I am going to also go visit the fam bam back in California. Yeah I need to do something positive with my life, with that said, I am now trying to become more involved on campus...Yeah I know it's almost the middle of the year and second semester of Junior year, but hey I have to move at a pace I am more comfortable at. Also I have been working like I have nothing else to do to make sure that my bills and other situations are handled. On top of that a famed designer has committed suicide.....Can anyone take a guess at who has done such a thing?!?

Famed designer, Lee McQueen, creator and designer of Alexander McQueen has committed suicide days before London Fashion Week and weeks before Paris Fashion Week. Reports claim:

McQueen was found at his luxury flat in Green Park, central London. It is believed he hanged himself.

A source at McQueen’s office this afternoon confirmed his death, saying: ‘It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family.’

His death comes just days before the start of London Fashion Week and weeks before he was due to unveil his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9.

This all brings me to sadness due to how I was planning on making my first Alexander McQueen purchase in a couple of months and how his style has inspired some of the best dressed people in the entertainment industry. McQueen's death has definitely hit not only the entertainment industry but also society really hard. If anyone has a McQueen piece please, please, wear it today or tomorrow or sometime soon, just to pay respect to not only the design house, but also the designer and his family.

Hello world!

How's everyone's Monday treating them? Mine was a bit relaxing since I only attended one class and ditched my second one due to me not wanting to go and needing to finish up some much needed work and having a small mental breakdown last night on the phone with my mother. This weekend has been hella rough on me or maybe it's my PMS, whatever it is, it's not pretty. Now that I am 95% complete with my work and I am going to soon have to go home..Yes I am still on campus =/ But hey free internet is better than no internet or paying for internet[ sorry Starbucks, I love ya, but not that much to pay $3.99 +tax for 2 hours of internet].

Anywhoo, this post is being dedicated to one of my loves, handbags. I saw another handbag that I am in love with and hope to one day possibly own soon. I think a handbag can pull together any look and make it look either city chic, preppy chic, or hey your own version of chic. This past weekend, I went window shopping with a work colleague whom I refer to as Mama S. I call her this due to her being a tad bit older than I and also guiding me and giving me her honest opinions about life and the decisions that are made. Although blunt, she's funny and honest which reminds me also of my Aunt B back in California. Now back to the reason why this post is existent, while window shopping with Mama S, we walked into the mall's Coach store. Mama S is a Coach label fanatic and will purchase Coach as much as possible. Also she's a handbag fanatic, which suits the relationship I have with her quite well. When we entered the semi-crowded store, I glanced around to see what was new in the store and to see if anything caught my eye. We kept walking towards the cash wrap and headed towards the shoe section of the store, while there, I noticed this gorgeous bag in three colors: Blue, Brown, and Black. This bag was completely gorgeous. I immediately asked the salesgirl information on the bag and was informed that it was the Kristin Zip Top Tote. It was released in November 2009 and has multiple purposes/ways of usage. It also cost $698+tax.

However this was not the first time I have seen this Coach bag. The first time I set my eyes on it was when it was mentioned on a fellow bloggers' post, Karla. She models this bag quite perfectly and I love her style, definitely someone who has inspired me to dress and want to become a professional stylist[**waves: Hi Karla!]. For the past few months and the current state, I have been having roommate problems. You see I try to keep my roommate drama separate from my blog but today I am willing to overstep the boundary I have set for myself and put the whole ish on BLAST! Well here's how the story goes:

My current roommates[ a friend and her bf, who is like my brother] have stopped speaking to me. It was their choice not mine. It all started with a friend of mine staying with me for a couple of weeks due to her living situation and needing a safe and warm place to stay. So being the good friend that I am, I offered her to stay with me until she got everything situated. My friend stayed with me off and on for about 2 maybe 3 weeks, top! Well my roommate and her bf had the nerve to ask if she was living there and if so, she should contribute to the household or drive them wherever they needed to go since I was always able to get a ride with her. But get this, they don't even like her so why even bother with the asking for a ride and plus she knows that they don't like her, so that really was not going to happen. Also she was staying in my room, which I pay rent for and she was not eating our food or using up anything. Unlike their friends and family members who have stayed with us for months at a time and did not pay a damn dime to stay there. I mean they stayed in the living room and I did not mind b/c they were either visiting or getting their lives in order and trying to get funds to do so. But I behaved myself during this conversation and listened to what they had to say, although I knew in my mind I would not even pay their ridiculous suggestions no mind.

I relayed the information to my friend and she felt extremely bad believing that she was causing problems, but I told her to ignore them and that they were just talking a bunch of mess that she did not need to worry about them and their outrageous demands. Well this eventually led to my roommate and her bf not speaking to me. I ran into her bf at homecoming and said hello to him for I thought it would be rude to not do such a thing. He asked me what was going on and I asked him the same question for they stopped speaking to me, not me stop speaking to them. He had the nerve to say that if I had a problem or thought I did something wrong that I need to speak to them....UMMMM HELL NO! Not happening! So ever since then they have not spoken to me and have been extremely rude and disrespectful. I am writing this because recently I asked my roommate to see the electricity bill and she said that they send it to her in an email and that she was not printing it out. Well I politely told her on the little paper that she writes how much each person owes, that until I see the bill in my email inbox, I refuse to pay it. Then she has the nerves to call my mother and explain the situation. Please note that my mother, being the person that she is, knows the whole deal of what's going on. Even my mother suggested to her to print or give me the bill. Have I seen this bill yet? Ummm....NOPE! Is she receiving a payment? UMMMM HELL NO!!! I refuse! This however is not the only time that she and her bf have been disrespectful to me, but hey that's what makes the whole story longer and it makes me pissed off each and every time.

No one has done anything to them and they feel that what they are doing is right....
Sure I am thinking the same thing with my actions, however the difference is this, I am willing to accept if I am wrong and apologize. Are they? I don't think so....But luckily this will all end in July when I take my ass and my ish out of the apartment and move elsewhere without them. Hopefully I can get my own apartment or I can find a new roommate. 2010 is a year of a new me and possibilities that I plan to take a hold of.

I would like to hear other people's opinions and thoughts on the situation. If any of you have been in something like this please let me know what I should do. This is probably the reason why people say friends and friend's bfs should not live together...womp womp!

Good morning everyone!

I can't believe that the semester has started! Yes I am currently back in good ole Atlanta and attending school. I kind of miss home already and felt like my visit home was not long enough. In California, it was all nice and sunny with the weather being in the mid 60s-70s...That sounds perfect right? Yes I know! But in Atlanta that is a whole other story.... It's cold like no other! When I woke up this morning it was 28 or below degrees =[ This is so not what I imagined when I made the decision to go to school in Atlanta. I was so used to going outside and seeing everything look nice and healthy but in Atlanta everything looks dead and frozen. Glad I was able to leave Atlanta when I did and didn't get caught in the snow that occurred a couple of days to a week later.

So back to the main reason this post is being made and titled the way it is....

The semester has started and already I can tell that I am going to be dealing with a lot and in the long haul. I had a class yesterday and most of my classes are today. I had one already, both Spanish courses aka my minor and I am already trying to prepare my schedule for meeting with professors and gaining extra help if I start to struggle or feel myself fall behind. Today I also have Criminology and International Relations.... the life of a Political Science major and Spanish minor... not too exciting but busy. But on top of that I am working still, looking for another new job and also starting up some new endeavors... be on the look out and updates on that shall be starting soon ***hopefully*** But for so far, the semester has been going smoothly and I have high hopes and ambitions on what shall occur this semester.

I am getting my hustle on through school, preparing for the LSATs [has any of my readers taken the LSATs before? if so please let me know how it was for I am open to all advice and help when it comes to preparing for it and also taking the test], working as a stylist, finding something productive to do this summer, and also starting my new secret endeavor *** be on the look out for that**

Therefore I would to toast to everyone who's in high school, college or starting a new section or time in their book of Life, for this is the year that the best foot should be placed and big and wonderful things shall happen for everyone =D

As a part-time stylist at a retail store and hopefully will become a professional part-time stylist to the stars and models[s/n: hey a girl has to start somewhere], I realized that I needed to start posting some of the outfits I wear out whenever I have the time and energy to get dressed. Hey everyone!

So right now I am supposed to be packing but instead I have decided to hit the computer and update. So yesterday was my last day in sunny California aka home. So for my last day, it was not as eventful as it should have been but it was fun nonetheless. I had my optometrist appointment scheduled at the last minute. When I first called the optometrist, they said that they were booked on Monday and Tuesday aka today was a no go because I would already be at the airport. Yes I wear contacts or glasses, but I prefer my contacts all day everyday. But anywhoo, I went there and had a quick visit with my regular optometrist that I had not seen in like 1 1/2- 2 years. Everything was the same he reported, so the windows to my soul are all good. After that I definitely had to rush and meet up with an ex for a movie date. Yeah, he's an ex for a reason and we are just friends=] But he paid for everything and that also did not help since that is one thing I miss about the males in California or at least the ones I knew, they always paid for the woman and would not dare think of her paying and if she did it was something minor and it was after months of dating.

But the best part of the evening was dinner. Since I am officially legal in other words I am now 21 years old I can order my drink and enjoy it with full pleasure =D Dinner was at BJ's Chicago style pizza Restaurant and Brewery....yyyyyuuuuummmm....delicious=D Nothing about BJ's makes you think of a pizzeria. They have more options than most restaurants and are well known for their sinful but oh so delicious pizookies - s/n: a cookie in the shape of a pizza with ice cream on top.....yyyyyuuuummmm.... yes I have a little fat girl side to me=D But we went there and ordered a bunch of food... tooo bad I did not take pictures of all the deliciousness that was before me but I can tell you this, the people in Atlanta and other areas of the South are missing out on something great. On top of being able to order my drink, I was given a personal pizookie for my birthday, it was small but oh so fulfilling since I was already full after all the appetizers and could not even finish my own meal. All in all today was a good day and it makes me miss home so much...I don't think I am ready to go back to Atlanta...hell it's cold =/ who wants to go back to cold weather after they have been in excellent weather for the past couple of weeks? NO ONE!!!!

As most people who know me, know I have an infatuation with the label and the designer Marc Jacobs. Anything he has touched, if I see something new by him and I like it, I instantly have to have it since it was made by him and I adore what he does. He's partial the reason of why I am falling back in love with Louis Vuitton and a little second guessing my choice of profession, although I am not crazy to change it now...

s/n: come on now! I am almost done and the other profession I would choose requires me to have the role of starving artist, which is not me....sorry this chick is a little bit expensive or in other terms, she likes to spend her money on things that she love and others may consider expensive.

The reason for this post is that last month, well in late November-early December, I had been stalking my recently Bloomingdale's which is not hard since I work on the second floor of the mall and across from their second floor store entrance=] Yes I am guilty. When I walk into Bloomingdale's, I instantly go towards my favorite sections, the handbags and shoes. Yes I am the typical woman and I might be a perfect version to fit the Black College version of Carrie Bradshaw with a mixture of Charlotte and Samantha, or at least that's how I would describe myself. But anywhoo, I instantly walked to the Marc Jacobs section which they placed in the front and middle... they placed the accessories in the front/middle of the aisle and the handbags in the front and some are hanging and some are on the table. Immediately I spotted the new Marc by Marc Jacobs bags and fell in love. I have to have it right after I buy my Speedy 35=] It's definitely next on my necessary bags I need to have in my life. So for those who know and those who don't know I recently turned 21 year old. That's right everyone, the girl is officially LEGAL!!!!!! lmao=D That's right I am officially considered an adult and able to purchase liquor legally....No fake id for me Mr. Store Owner, here's my real id... CHECK THAT OUT!!!!! Now that I am an adult I figured why not do something big and want something big for my birthday. All that said, this year I am channeling my inner Audrey Hepburn with a mixture of Marilyn Monroe. As the beginning process of the channeling, I requested a birthday cake in the shape and color of a Tiffany & Co. box, which I received. On top of that I want and desire, a new Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 and some new Ray Ban Wayfarers. I requested the Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 in the monogram print[brown] and the Wayfarers in either black, blue or the all time classic for me aka my favorite color, pink =] I have told everyone including my wonderful family and friends that I am taking donations towards the purchase for these items as gifts instead of them shopping for me. We shall see who all listened to this request and or who actually came through and made the purchase of either the bag or the sunglasses, or better yet, both =] That surprise would have me set for the rest of the year and make me strive to do better.

New Year Resolutions For 2010

So this year has started and I am somewhat happy about all things I know are going to happen if I have a say so=] With that said, I have decided to make a New Year's Resolution....

1. I will stay focus no matter what! No one, male or female, shall distract me and what I have planned for myself this year.

2. I will not allow anyone, male or female, to walk all over me. In other terms, I will not be weak. I will show everyone that just because I have a big heart, it does not mean one can do what they want with my feelings and kindness.

3. I am determined to find something more productive this summer besides working. Now don't get me work, I never had any issues with working especially my jobs that I have now and adore, but I refuse to not be prepared for the LSATs next Fall. That's right everyone, this girl is right on schedule and will be graduating next Spring, therefore next Fall LSATs need to be taken since I am applying to law school.

4. I will travel more. This year I have hopes and dreams of traveling to more areas besides Atlanta and California....yes I am a California girl, for those who do not remember. I am actually planning next year's Christmas...can anyone say Hawaii, South Africa, or heck even Australia is an option, just need some opinions about those places.

5. I will always be me and keep it 100% with everyone =] I say this and I say this with love, I will for now on not walk on egg shells to keep people's feelings from being hurt. If we are close, you should be able to understand that is who I am and I am tired of people thinking that they can take advantage of me.

6. Last but not least, I shall start making my dreams into my reality and show the doubters, fakers, haters, and liars that I am not the same Kristina they thought they knew and that I am more into being positive, blunt and honest.

Hey everyone!

I know it has been awhile since I have updated this here blog of mine. It's just that things have been really hectic for me. Life has sped up and left me behind or so it seems. Right now college is what it is, college. I can't believe that this semester is about to end in like 3 weeks. That is mad craziness, right? My body has not been able to hang and is feeling like it's going through a shut down mode without my consent. Not a good sign and my jobs have not been allowing me to work due to the lack of hours and other excuses. Then on top of that my living situation seems to not be helping me for I am going through it like no other but to remain classy I will not air my living situation dirty laundry although it's my laundry too, I just think it's best if I don't air it out on here for things might change for the better or for the worst, so why jinx myself. Then don't even get me started on the men/boys problems I have been having since the semester started. I am getting to a certain point in my life where I guess my mindset is saying I need to settle down before I do something I might regret or hurt someone and cause bad karma to come back on me, IDK but my relationship problems are exactly that problems and situations although some of the previous beaus I have spoken about on here have been removed from my life or placed in a different section better known as the friendship/acquaintances section and shall remain there for they caused too much heartache, tears and pain for me to move them back to where they were if they ever decided to get their acts together. But I wrote this post to let my readers and other people know I am alive and will be coming back stronger than ever. I know I have said this time and time again but I do mean it this time well as soon as my computer gets fixed for my poor MacBook has been going through somethings and has a bloated battery which in Apple terms is not a good thing. With that said, I shall be signing off and actually pay attention in class while finish writing my paper for my next class....hehehe....procrastination = high school and college years =]

Hello lovelies!

I know it has been a while since I have updated. Things in my life has been pretty hectic. Right now I am in my boring economics class listening and copying homework. I definitely am not made for economics. I can run a business but I am not meant to understand more than that..LoL! I am a political science major for a reason, people=]

Sorry I have not been updating, so let's recap what's been going in my life since Junior year has started. Well I have been working a bit less and interning a bit more. My two jobs and internship have taken over my life. I am a bit behind on my reading for some of my courses, so I have been trying to focus during the weekend on my reading assignments. On top of that something tragic happened on "campus." A young lady was shot and has really shaken the entire community. Now I did not personally know her, but it did hit home for it just shows how the world really is and that one is not always safe on campus. She was not even in her 20s and was only a sophomore in college. It was completely devastating. On top of that I have been dealing with the male drama I continuously have since I admit, that I am a flirt. I admit it full heartedly, I am flirt and have a lot of male friends due to this habit. Well recently a male friend who would not get the hint that I did not want a relationship with him became highly upset with me. He became upset with me because I did not have time for him....Well I told him whatever since I don't even have alone time for myself. How selfish and rude, but I see it like this, he's out of my hair and I can move on with my life...Well after I get my dvd back from him.

Next on the list, I finally went school shopping. Thank goodness! I received and bought a lot of goodies. That's for another post...I just wanted to leave you all with an update and let you know I do still care and will regularly start blogging once my life has gotten in order=]

Hey everyone!

Yes, it's a double post today. Right now I am waiting at the Starbucks near my second job. Working two jobs and interning has stressed this girl out, which is why I have not be able to update as often. Trust me with my classes starting tomorrow, I will have to find ways and time to update all you lovely people on what's going on with me and in society.
So let's talk...

First thing first, am I the only one who has been spending less time at the MAC counter/store and Sephora and more time at clothing stores, especially the one I work at? I recently moved and should have more closet space, but I don't. I can barely hang my clothes in the closet. I mean, there's no space left and this weekend I am going out again to get more clothes. Lately I have been shopping at my first/primary job. It's like every other week I end up leaving with more clothes from my job, I guess when you get a discount like the one my store gives out, you end up with the entire store floor apart of your closet. Right now I am contemplating on a pair of jeans I recently purchased from my job and trying to decide if I really need them yet want them. Also on top of that I am becoming fed up with my 2nd job. It's a pain in my ass, I guess because the manager/owner is giving me a headache and I am on the verge of quitting although I know it would not be the best move right now due to needing references and my high ranking at the store, but hell, she's not paying me enough and she does not understand that this girl does not work for pennies and free but I work for that all mighty dollar. Things really need to start changing with that job starting with the fact that I am about to change my schedule to only work during the weekends during the day since the bus near by stops running at 7pm and I intern and work my first job during the week and day. With that said, I am not sure how to approach her with that situation but it's better than me quitting which my mom has been encouraging me to do since she's concerned about me and my safety and being 3000 miles away from good ole home aka Southern California =] I know I may sound mean or complaining but this lady basically bitched at me about being an whole hour early for work, who in the world bitches at their employee about being early for work? I mean damn, would she rather I be late for work? But besides that I am excited about tomorrow for the semester officially starts for me since I am only attending classes on Tuesdays and Thursday =] That's my dream schedule and I am happy with it since it allows me to work the hours I have been doing for the past few months. But let me go and rush to my other job since I don't want to be late and hear her bitch about that too! LoL !

Good morning everyone!

I know you are all wondering where I have been. Well I have been busy trying to make what this good Earth and you good people know as money and preparing myself to return back to school for the Fall Semester and my 3rd year of college[ yay! =] ] Yep this girl is a Junior and I am rightfully that for I finally peeped my transcript from Spring Semester, it could have been better but the grades are my fault due to my slacker ways, LoL! But hey that was Spring and now we are in Fall, so things are definitely going to be different if I have it my way. I know some of you are like it can not be possibly that time of the year again where coffee is a necessity to get the morning started, papers start being due and gossiping about what you did this past summer with all your friends that you either briefly or did not see at all during the summer. Sorry to be the one to burst the bubble, but that wonderful time has reared it's head and is finally here, well for me at least. Right now I am at my laid back internship at a law firm, drinking dunkin donuts iced coffee while eating a chocolate sprinkle doughnut, writing this entry and doing some office work. Yes I am a big multi-tasker, but that is off the subject at hand... Fall semester is here and boy am I not that prepared for it, but I will face it head strong. I decided to include in this post something that brought a smile to my face and I am sure will bring a smile to yours and make you wanna dance a little bit =]

Hey Everyone!

So since it's August and the semester still has not started, I am able to add a bit more since my life has become a little less hectic than what it used to be. Let me explain the title of this post. I am a minister kid. I have grown in the church since I was born. My mother was in charge of the hospitality department, a Sunday school teacher and soon became a licensed minister. I know weird and random. But that's besides the point....the point is that I am blessed and will love to share my experience or what they call in the church "testimony." Let me start with the most important and recent event that occurred in my life.

Yesterday, I was supposed to be at work at 10a, so when I know I have to do morning shift, I aim to leave my apartment around 9 am. Well I overslept due to missing my first alarm and only hearing my 8:30a, which is my reminder to get my butt out of the house or the shower, which ever one I happen to be doing. Well I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off on my cell and started to rush dress for I had to be at work around 10a and we also have a contest occurring within the company I work for. As I was getting dressed and running around like a chicken with her head cut off and trying to be as quiet as possible due to sleeping roommates and guests. I did not end up leaving my house until 9:20, which is not bad, but it's pushing the time limit for me to get to work. So I walked to the bus stop[ I take public transportation for I have no other method of transportation] and waited with some people that were also waiting for the 9:30a bus. As the minutes ticked away, I kept thinking about how late I was going to be for work and how much I hated being late and was not going to be able to get my morning Starbucks. Yes, I need Starbucks in the morning to function. Well when the bus finally arrived it was crowded and I was a little agitated about being late. Come to find out my bus that I was supposed to catch at 9am had gotten into an accident. Can you say blessed and thankful? I was just happy to be safe and not worrying about being late once I got to work. I just wanted to share the tidbit of information with you all because I am just a sharing person.

I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I have so much to update all you lovely people on. I bet some of you have stopped checking but I have been meaning to blog but things have become so hectic within my life that I had to take a break and now I am back. So let's start from the beginning.....

Many of you may know and some of you might not, but I recently moved into a new apartment. I am finally out of the hood and in the city-suburbs* humming "Moving on up-The Jeffersons' theme song"* But for real, I had to move away from my campus because it was in the straight up hood. We had drug addicts, prostitutes, crack houses, the whole ordeal. I hate that HBCUs are located in the hood or the middle of nowhere and don't try to fight me on this one because I have done my research and have several friends who go to HBCUs who also agree with me. But anywhoo... that entire ordeal was quite draining and dramatic, but thank goodness it's over and I am now sitting comfortably in my apartment, just waiting for Fall semester to start. So besides this all happening I had another hurdle or obstacle to worry about, which was college tuition.

College tuition is difficult to find now days since the economy crashed and what not. For a minute I was unsure of how I was going ot pay my tuition. Loans have been my main option for the past 2 years, so why should my 3rd year be any different. Well since the economy decided to do a turn for the worst this past year, I was struggling on finding someone to cosign my loan. For some reason a lot of family members thought I would leave them hanging with such a huge and life changing bill. I am glad to say this, I am not like that. I would never leave my family or even my parents alone with such a huge responsibility and bill. I would handle that on my own. After a lot of begging, pleading, and the one thing that never fails, PRAYER, I was able to get a loan cosigned and approved. This chicadita is going to school in the Fall. Now all I have to do is register and make sure the loan company hits my school up soon with the information about my loan! I am mad excited, hopefully my silly college don't change my financial aid plan because if they do they will have an angry college student on their hands during the first few weeks of the semesters. Yes, I do stalk the financial aid office and some administrators when it comes to my education and being able to attend since they like to play games and I do not have time for games! SMH I know some of you understand where I am coming from when it comes to college administrators and those financial aid departments.

On top of all of this I have been working two jobs and hustling as much as I possibly can for I need money and I need as much as I can get, so I have been taking over people's hours and doing whatever it takes to get it as legal as possible. LoL =D

But honestly I have missed updating all of my wonderful.... I come up with a blank here, because I do not like calling you all my followers. It sounds so dictato

r-ish, so I am going to go out on a limb here and call you all my compadres, associates, or friends here, because some of you are quite nice and make me smile with your comments and posts I have been trying to read faithfully but have failed since my summer problems have hit. Right now I am supposed to be sleeping or waking up to get ready for my internship and work, but I have not been to sleep* not good* but I will survive. Just wish me luck! * crossing fingers and closing eyes*

Well now I should get back to unpacking, dancing, and getting ready for the next few hours of my life. I am back for good now and will officially keep this blog as current as possible.

Hey everyone!

Right now I am going through some personal issues that have been making me feel like ish. My weekends are filled with nothing but boredom and so much unhappiness. It's like if I am not working or hanging out I am bored or unhappy with things or certain people. I don't even know what's wrong with me. I guess the summer in ATL is not what I expected. I mean I did not expect a lot but things have been changing so frequently before I even have time to adjust to it. I mentioned previously that my hours at one my jobs were cut drastically, which now adds on to the sadiness. Normally I am not sad for long but today has just been one of those days. One of my friends who just returned to the states cancelled on me today but I understand his reasons and I am not even mad at him for it. I was just looking forward to hanging out with him, but hey things happen and his reasons were very valid. I think I just need to do a quick visit home to California, but with money being tight right now, that's for sure a no. I just hate having lazy and bum. Then next weekend I am doing a double shift again, which puts a damper in my plans I had originally. But hey I guess that's life. To be honest, I am just ready to see my family, whom I have not seen since March and even then I did not even see all the people I wanted to see during Spring Break. I just have to allow things to sit and dwell and hope for a change for the better because my weekends are not going as I had planned they would especially if you are supposed to be dating/talking to someone, but you barely see them and they live in the same neighborhood that you do. I think if I could go back and change somethings, I would have gone home for a visit and maybe stay the summer there with my family and come back to ATL when it's time to move into the new apartment. Maybe this is just a phase I am going through that will be cured soon, I just need some form of fun or activeness to occur in my life. Maybe I will go for a night run tonight like I did the previous night. Who knows?
